Dr. Laura Moon began her dental journey by graduating cum laude with Bachelors degrees in Biology and Asian Studies from the University of Cincinnati. She went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University College of Dentistry. While there, she received the Dean’s Research Award for research on bone mineralization, as well as the Student Award in Implant Dentistry from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Moon completed her training as Chief Resident in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University Langone Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. Since entering the field, she has been recognized as a Top Dentist in Bellevue, WA, achieved board certification from the American Board of Periodontology, and volunteered as a lecturer for dentists in Jamaica and Zambia.
Dr. Moon has many years of experience as a periodontist in WA, NY and NJ. She specializes in procedures such as laser treatment of periodontal disease and peri-implant diseases, gum grafting for recession, tooth extractions, implant placements, bone grafting, and full arch hybrid cases.
Originally from the west coast, Dr. Moon loves skiing and cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. She’s also a fitness enthusiast who enjoys Muay Thai and tennis.
